Free online Solitaire
Solitaire - Klondike, or Patience in Britain - is the card game that came with every computer. Twenty-eight cards are dealt into seven columns, the rest wait in the stock, and the aim is to move all 52 onto four foundations, one per suit, from Ace up to King. In the columns you build down in alternating colours: a red 9 on a black 10, a black 8 on the red 9. Only a King, or a run headed by one, may fill an empty column.
Every deal can be won
Not every shuffle of a deck can be played out - some Klondike deals are lost before the first move. Here every deal has been played to the end by a solver before it reaches you, and each winning line checked card by card, so there is always a way to clear the table. Finding it is up to you.

In both modes the waste goes back into the stock as often as you like.
Made for the phone
Tap a card and it goes where it fits best - to a foundation if it can, otherwise onto a column. Or drag it, together with the cards on top of it, exactly where you want it. The stock sits on the right, under your thumb. Undo takes back as many moves as you like, Hint shows a move that keeps the game winnable, and once every card is face up the game finishes itself. On a computer, click or drag, move between cards with Tab, play one with Enter and undo with Ctrl + Z. Light and dark themes follow your device, and the game in progress is saved as you play.
